Younger Generations Won’t Know These Old Car Features
Choke
Your car probably doesn’t have a choke button on the dashboard unless it was made before the 1980s. The choke is something only found in cars with a carburetor.
Starting an old car on a cold winter day wasn’t easy. Drivers had to carefully use the choke button to get the engine going. Very old cars, made before the 60s, had a fully manual choke, while slightly newer ones had a more automated version.
