A Good Night's Rest

Pocket door number two in this house leads into the bedroom, our personal sanctuary. The focal point of the room is a queen-sized bed, which provides us with plenty of comfort and space. On either side of the bed, snugly fitting nightstands hold identical table lamps, perfect for our bedtime reading or for adding a soft glow to the room.

Just like in the rest of the house, clerestory windows were used to allow natural daylight in, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. For privacy, we decided to put up custom-made curtains, as we couldn't find any in stores that would fit the ceiling-to-floor length we wanted. These curtains give us the perfect balance of light control and seclusion.

Adding a touch of elegance, a chandelier hangs right above the bed, providing a “wow” factor in our cozy bedroom.
