18. Keep the lighting in front of you

In one of the earlier pictures we shared, we emphasized the significance of lighting. If you're unable to access natural light, consider using a ring light or other props to achieve the perfect selfie. But, if you do have the privilege of natural lighting, you need to make the most of it.

First and foremost, never turn away from the light source. Doing so produces the opposite effect, resulting in dark and challenging-to-edit pictures. Always face the natural lighting when taking a selfie — it will make your skin glow. Also, don’t forget to keep your chin up when taking selfies!
