In their natural tropical environment, Croton species can become quite large shrubs and present a genuinely wild arrangement of leaf shapes, colors, and patterns ranging from oak-leaf forms to long, thin leaves with crimson, yellow, green, and orange zest. Crotons can be a little challenging to grow indoors, as they require bright light and heavy watering. They are genuinely tropical and love to be moist, so a humidifier or daily misting would greatly benefit them.
