U/lithiumbaddery: "When I was about six years old, my dad and I stopped by the library so he could return a book. He told me he'd be right back and left me in the car alone. As soon as he was out of sight, a man approached the car window and asked me to unlock the door, claiming that the car's lights were on and he wanted to show me how to turn them off. I responded that my dad would be back shortly and he could handle it then. Despite the man's persistent requests to let him in, I refused.

It wasn't until I recounted the incident to my dad that I realized something was weird. He quickly pulled the car over to the side of the road and asked if I could still see the man. When I said I couldn't, we continued on our way. At the time, the potential danger didn't fully register with me."
