How to Being a Payroll Clerk?

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a payroll clerk or manager in previous roles

• Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles

• Proficiency in data collection, entry, and reporting, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality

• Strong understanding of pertinent legislation, policies, and regulations related to payroll processing

• Computer proficiency with experience using relevant software such as Payforce

• Exceptional mathematical and numerical skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Effective communication skills, coupled with problem-solving aptitude

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting or business administration is advantageous
